Automatic group posting
Purpose
Automatically post to Facebook Groups by account level and schedule in FB settings. The Server creates group-post tasks; the desktop app opens the browser profile and publishes.
Two common flows:
- Account → group: a personal account posts into approved / joined groups allowed for its level.
- Fanpage → group: a fanpage posts into a linked group (when your fanpage workflow targets a group).
Before you start
- Accounts have a level that allows group posting (see System Configuration).
- You have approved groups and, when needed, joined / allowed-to-post status — see Approve and manage Groups.
- Browser profiles are linked correctly; the app will run automation when you need real posts.
- For fanpage→group: the fanpage and group link are ready — Manage Fanpages.
On the Management Website
| Area | What to do |
|---|---|
| Automation settings > FB settings | Enable / tune Group posting per level: posts per day, pending-post checks, pending limits |
| Group management (Groups) | Approve groups; track joined / can-post state |
| Facebook > Fanpages (if fanpage→group) | Pick fanpage and group destination when creating schedules / tasks |
| Facebook > Tasks | Monitor group-post tasks |
Steps
A. Group posts from FB settings (account)
- Open Automation settings > FB settings.
- Select the level for accounts that will post to groups.
- In Group posting (or equivalent UI), set:
- Group posts per day.
- Delay / check count after posting (if the group holds posts for approval).
- Max pending posts — if too many wait for approval or are rejected, the system may pause new group posts.
- Save.
- Assign the correct level on Facebook > Accounts.
- Ensure Groups are approved and accounts have joined / can post on target groups.
- Wait for scheduled tasks; check Facebook > Tasks.
- On the machine: Start automation — Run Automation.
B. Fanpage posting into a group
- Confirm the fanpage and destination group on the website (fanpage–group link if the UI requires it).
- Create a schedule / post task with destination group via Fanpage forms or your automatic flow (AI Posts, crawled sources, manual create…).
- Monitor Facebook > Tasks; the machine must be connected and running automation.
General fanpage posting: Automatic fanpage posting.
Expected result
Group-post tasks appear on schedule; an online machine posts into the correct group; status updates on the website. If the group requires post approval, the Facebook post may stay pending — monitor and do not spike load suddenly.
Common issues
| Symptom | Hint |
|---|---|
| No group-post tasks | Check group posting enabled per level; time window; account level |
| Tasks exist but nothing posts | Automation not started; group not approved / not joined; wrong browser profile |
| Many pending / rejected posts | Lower daily volume; review group quality; check pending limits in FB settings |
| Fanpage posted to the wrong group | Check fanpage–group links and recreate the task with the right destination |
