Approve and manage Groups
Purpose
Manage your Facebook Group list on the website: add groups, approve / reject, track joined state and posting rights. The system only uses approved groups for comments, posts, and other group interactions in your configuration.
Before you start
- You are signed in with access to Groups (group management).
- You know which groups support sales / warming / comments — keep only quality groups.
- Do not send sensitive group UIDs or unredacted screenshots to support unless necessary.
On the Management Website
Group management (Groups) — or Facebook > Groups depending on UI version.
Common approval statuses (labels may vary slightly by version):
| Status | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | New / undecided | Approve if suitable; reject if unused |
| Approved (AI / manual) | Allowed for automation | Keep and link to accounts / fanpages as needed |
| Rejected | Do not use | Do not assign tasks; delete if your process allows |
| Skipped | Temporarily ignored | Do not use for posts / comments until re-approved |
On account–group links, the UI often shows:
- Joined / Not joined
- Can post / Cannot post
Steps
- Open Groups on the website.
- Add a group (UID / link / on-screen form) or wait for sync from accounts if your process includes a group scan step.
- Filter by approval status (pending, approved, rejected…).
- For each group:
- Approve if it matches your operations goal.
- Reject or skip if spam, off-topic, or high risk.
- Check linked accounts: joined or not, allowed to post or not.
- For automatic post / comment / join flows, rely only on approved groups — see related capability guides below.
- Periodically remove poor-quality groups so tasks do not target bad groups.
Expected result
A clean group list, mostly approved for the right goals; clear joined / can-post state per account; post, join, and comment flows only target suitable groups.
Common issues
| Symptom | Hint |
|---|---|
| Comments / posts do not run even with FB settings on | Group not approved, or account not joined / cannot post |
| Many groups pending | Batch-filter; approve in small batches; reject unused groups |
| Newly added group missing | Refresh; check status filters; ask admin if you lack permission |
| Fanpage cannot post into a group | Check fanpage–group links and approved status |
